"The Polar Express"

Przed Świętami Bożego Narodzenia mieliśmy wielką przyjemność szlifować język angielski, oglądając oryginalną wersję "Polarnego ekspresu". Oto jakie refleksje nasunęły się Maksowi Dębowskiemu z VI klasy po obejrzeniu tego świątecznego filmu! Justyna Pałyska I have seen Polar Express recently. For me the movie is very good and I recommend it to all people who like fantasy stories. It is a story about a boy who didnʼt believe in Santa Claus. One night he saw a train in front of his house. This train took him to the North Pole where he met Santaʼs helpers preparing presents in a special factory and finally Santa Claus himself. On the train the boy met 2 friends and a strange conductor. He had lots of adventures. I recommend Polar Express because it is a nice story to watch with family especially before Christmas. There are stunning special effect in this movie. It is a computer animation and a color movie. It was directed by Robert Zemeckis. The movie was released in Poland on 3 December 2004. It was a huge success and it got 3 Oscars. There are many funny parts in the movie, for example the one when the train  must stop because there are reindeers on the road which will let the train pass if one of the engine drivers pulls the beard of the other one:-). The movie lasts 100 minutes. 6 roles were played by Tom Hanks. He played a hero boy, a father, a conductor, a hobo, Scrooge and Santa Claus, which is quite unusual.
